’62 CHEVROLET C-10 PICKUP

John brought his ’62 Chevy C-10 pickup to us to carry out most of the project’s initial major fabrication. John insisted a low and aggressive look. To achieve this we installed air ride suspension and fitted it with 20” Foose billet rims, giving it an awesome stance. The team then converted the vehicle from left to right hand drive. The front suspension is from a Jaguar XJ6 and we fitted a Ford 9” diff in the rear. The complete braking system from an AUII Ford Falcon was installed, running all new brake lines in between. A custom made billet steering column was fitted along with billet pedals. A VN Commodore ute fuel tank was fitted between the rear chassis rails in a removable frame. We also carried out various chassis repairs and modifications.

TESTIMONIAL

(1962 Chevy C-10 Pickup) owner: JOHN BORST

I engaged Rad Rides to perform some major tasks on my project which I considered beyond my skill level. All were completed to very high professional standard. The team at Rad Rides really know their craft and were also happy to answer any questions I had and advise and share ideas.

The Bull family that make up Rad Rides live the car scene and have years of experience in vehicle modification as well as vehicle construction from the ground up.  I am very happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly, knowledgeable and capable team to turn their 4 wheeled dream into a reality.
