Rad Rides Rod & Custom Garage was founded by Bob Bull in November 2005. The company was formed as a family owned and operated custom street rod shop, with father Bob Bull and sons Travis, Trent and Gavin combining their skills to form a young and dedicated team.
Bob Bull has been involved in street rodding for more than 25 years. From a young age he always dreamed of building his own street rod. Later with his fitter / machinist and engineering skills behind him, he located and purchased an original 1923 T model radiator surround and a rough T-Bucket body shell, which had no floor, dash or pickup bed. He fabricated his own chassis and many other components that could not be bought, on his way to completing one of the finest street rods in Australia for it's time. The 1923 T-Bucket consistantly won awards over a 15 year period including national top 10, state title and multiple peoples choice awards.
With three sons growing up around street rodding, their involvement was inevitable. It wasn't long after each son could drive that they had a street rod, street machine or project of their own. Later in 2005, with a variety of trade skills behind them, plans were put on the table to start Rad Rides Rod & Custom Garage as a family business.
The aim was to form a new generation street rod shop, specializing in radical body styles, new age components and technologies to push Australian street rodding into the future. Rad Rides Rod & Custom Garage soon became agents for Coast to Coast Street Rods, and after a short period of time what was once a passionate hobby, had evolved into a promising business.
